Enroute from chamberline to the Badlands We stopped at an old 1800 western town. They had props from the Movie "Dances with Wolves" on display and a lot of other touristey stuff.

Yesterday morning we rose at the crack of dawn (about 1030 A.M.) and continued our trip from Chamberline SD to the Badlands. I will post some pictures of our view from our campsite on the Missouri River at Chamberline. We arrived in the Badlands about 4:00 P.M. We got the camper set up and went exploring and took a few pictures. I will also post some of them. We heard the crack of dawn this morning about 7:30. It's funny how dawn comes at different times in South Dakota. We went exploring again today and took more pictures of the Badlands. I will post some of them also.

We left West Des Moines this morning headed west, but at the last moment we decided to back-track down I-35 to Madison County IA. This where the Movie "Bridges of Madison County" was filmed. I think my sister Jean was hoping that Clint Eastwood would be back in the area taking more pictures, but alas, he wasn't. We hit all five covered bridges plus the house where John Wayne was born. By the time we finished our little tour, it was too late to head west so we came back to the same RV park we left this morning. We will be on the road again tomorrow
